PRO Tank Ring

The PRO tank ring for the Honda CMX500 Rebel is mounted on a model-specific bracket that is attached to both tank fillers. The mounting element is firmly screwed to the motorcycle tank.

The PRO tank ring perfectly combines the innovative strength of two German companies: the QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, which has been tried and tested for many years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guide from Fidlock technology. We have significantly improved the positioning of the top ring: the sliding top ring now comes pre-assembled on a guide rail on the tank bag, so there is no longer any need to drill it.

This way, the top ring allows it to be oriented as needed on the guide rail located on the underside of the bag. Once the correct position is found, the top ring is firmly screwed in place. If you want to change motorcycles, the position of the ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guide rail developed by Fidlock complements an already perfected mechanical device such as the QUICK-LOCK closure by SW-MOTECH: magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank ring and the closure is firmly engaged. Thus, the force of the magnets helps to position the bag. The bag is secured with a single movement of the hand and you can start off with your luggage safely in place for the fun to begin.

The mechanical locking device secures the bag's position while the magnets bring both parts of the ring together. The robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic and the high geometric precision of its ratchet ensure that the tank bag remains firmly in the same position, no matter how long the journey.

The patented PRO tank ring is designed to fit the tank filler neck of the corresponding motorcycle model. This ensures optimal positioning on the tank.
