PRO Tank Ring

The PRO tank ring for the Ducati DesertX is mounted on a model-specific adapter plate that attaches to existing mounting points on the motorcycle.

The PRO tank ring combines the innovative strength of two German companies: The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, proven for many years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guide from Fidlock technology. The positioning of the top ring has been significantly improved: The sliding top ring is pre-assembled on the tank bag with a guide rail, meaning it no longer needs to be drilled.

This allows the top ring to be individually oriented along the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the right position has been found, the top ring is screwed tightly. If you change motorcycles, the position of the ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guide developed by Fidlock complements a perfected mechanical device like the SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism: the magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the lock clicks firmly into place. This way, the strength of the magnets helps position the bag. The bag is secured with a single hand movement, and you can start riding with your luggage securely in place to begin the fun.

The mechanical locking device secures the bag's position while the magnets bring both parts of the ring together. The robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic and the high geometric precision of its ratchet ensure that the tank bag remains firmly in the same position, no matter how long the journey.

The patent-protected PRO tank ring is designed to fit the fuel filler neck of the respective motorcycle model. This ensures optimal positioning on the tank.
