PRO Tank Ring

The PRO tank ring for the Ducati DesertX Rallye is mounted on a model-specific adapter plate that attaches to existing mounting points on the motorcycle.

The PRO tank ring combines the innovative strength of two German companies: The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, which has been tried and tested for many years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guide of Fidlock technology. The positioning of the top ring has been significantly improved: the sliding top ring is pre-assembled on the tank bag by means of a guide rail, so there is no need to drill holes.

This allows the top ring to be individually aligned on the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the right position has been found, the top ring is screwed on tightly. If you change motorcycles, the position of the ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guide rail developed by Fidlock complements an already perfected mechanical device, the QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism from SW-MOTECH: the magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the lock clicks firmly into place. The force of the magnets thus helps to position the bag. The bag is attached with a single movement and you can already start with your luggage securely in place for the fun to begin.

The mechanical locking device secures the position of the bag while the magnets pull both parts of the ring together. The robust fibreglass-reinforced plastic and the high geometric precision of its ratchet ensure that the tank bag remains firmly in the same position, no matter how long the journey.

The patented PRO tank ring is designed to fit the tank filler neck of the respective motorcycle model. This ensures optimal positioning on the tank.
